Bridging Social, Cultural, and Familial Contexts to Transform Your Mental Health and Take Control of Your Life
Supporting you through it all.
Many South Asian and African American women understand the frustration of finding a therapist who “gets it”. I recognize your unique challenges and am here to support you in reclaiming control of your life.
Hi, I’m Meena!
I’m a licensed professional counselor (serving North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Minnesota) and I’m so glad you found me. As a woman of color, I offer a unique cultural lens through which I provide therapy. I am the child of Indian immigrants who came to the United States in the 1980s and I consider myself bicultural. I have enjoyed the privilege of working with people who are part of the Indian diaspora. My experience of growing up in small town Wisconsin has shaped the way I approach the world and grew my passion for helping those who find themselves marginalized and misunderstood

"Meena provided chair yoga and meditation for my team. Meena did this virtually due to COVID-19 and she put my entire team at ease. She did an amazing job! My team was apprehensive at participate; however, after the session, they were so appreciative and grateful for the personal, self-care time. Meena is professional, kind, and respectful. She has such a calming approach and put the entire group at ease."
